Screaming Health uses crowdsourcing

August 11, 2009 (Sunnyvale, CA) - Screaming Health used crowdsourcing web site 99Designs for logo design of one of her clients. This was the first time Screaming Health used 99Designs. 99Designs is a marketplace for creative designers and companies in which it connects clients needing design work such as logo designs, business cards or web sites to a community of close to 44,000 talented designers.

Although in the beginning Screaming Health co-founder Hooshyar Naraghi were apprehensive about the usefulness of the web site, nevertheless, he was very pleased with the total experience as it turned out to expedite the design phase for the client's brand new logo. Within one week duration of the contest, Screaming Health received over 110 logos, approved 46 of them, and the client selected the final logo.

"The idea of crowdsourcing is the next logical step in the evolution of Web 2.0," said Hooshyar Naraghi.

He added "Screaming Health manages online marketing of alternative health businesses. We have a turnkey system and we welcome any third-party service that enhances our efficiency in serving our clients. In the area of creative assets, 99Designs turned out effective and extremely affordable. Our client was pleased too. He could visit the contest page everyday and review designs submitted and collaborate with us as to which one he liked the most.
